MUMBAI: VJ, actress and singer Sophie Choudry now becomes the proud owner of Mercedes SUV. She went to bring in the beauty home accompanied by her mom and paparazzi friendly Shih Tzu Tia.
Originally from London, Sophie is touted as industry's original Pop Diva. After having graduated from the London School of Economics, she moved to Mumbai about a decade ago to pursue a career in acting. By giving few of the greatest music hits and working in a couple of films, Sophie carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry.
Sophie was spotted in a luxury car showroom posing happily with her new indulgence.

She shared, “I feel really grateful, blessed and proud of myself. I have worked hard for it. I've always had wanted to buy the Mercedes SUV and wanted a specific colour. My mom and my late father always would compete with each other, mum loved BMWs and my dad always favoured Mercedes. So a few years ago, I managed to get one of each as a tribute to them I guess. I am excited to add a new one to family today.”
Sophie took to her micro blogging site to share her good news, “I have always had the best of everything, thanks to my family but when you achieve things as a result of your own hard work, it's a huge high.”
