Star Bharat most likely to pull the plug on Gangs of Filmistaan and Akbar Ka Bal Birbal

Star Bharat’s Gangs of Filmistaan and Akbar Ka Bal Birbal will in most probabilty go off air.

MUMBAI: Star Bharat recently had a revamp and rolled out four new shows namely Akbar Ka Bal Birbal (Triangle Films), Excuse Me Madam (Edit II), Gangs of Filmistaan (Lil Frodo) and recently launched Gupta Brothers (Mahesh Pandey Productions).

The channel went through a revamp and decided to switch from drama to comedy genre. However, none of the shows have been able to fare well on the rating charts.

As per the latest development, we hear that Gangs of Filmistaan and Akbar Ka Bal Birbal will most likely go off air.

We also hear that the cast of Gangs of Filmistaan has apparently wrapped-up its shoot while the team of Akbar Ka Bal Birbal is expected to wrap-up by the end of this month. The telecast of both the shows are expected to air till mid of November.

Star Bharat recently pulled the plug on Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki while RadhaKrishn, Savdhaan India, Excuse Me Madam and Gupta Brothers will continue to entertain viewers.

We couldn’t get through the producers of Triangle Films’ Nikhil Sinha and Lil Frodo’s Preeti Simoes for a comment.
