MUMBAI: Hitank Kedia who has earlier worked as a creative director for many television shows like Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piya Ji, Saavdhan India, Crime patrol, Ishq kills, Emotional atyachar season 4, Laagi tujhse lagan, Ganga kii Dheej, and Badii Devrani production team is now looking ahead to produce a television series.

He says, "I had earlier produce digital ad films. And currently I'm developing and working on my stories.. Working on two different set of stories. One is for tv and another is for OTT. I intent to produce them myself."

Talking about the difference in the medium he adds, "We come from a land where the population is over 135cr. Imagine the kind of diverse audience base we have. TV is primarily considered to be a drawing room viewing medium, where a family can sit together and view, while OTT platform is more of a personalized viewing medium, and stories that we cant watch with family or want to watch it at our comfort space works the most. The major difference in my eyes is this, resulting in a clear cut bifurcation between the stories we want to bring in for TV or OTT.

Talking ahead about the content he feels about producing. He reveals, "I have been a part of Indian television for over 14 years now. And with that experience I can say stories that are thought provoking, stories that connect with the female audience, stories that make them believe that its coming out from their life works the most on TV screen. We have enough examples to establish this Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is still running and is successful. Diya Aur Baati Hum, Punar Vivaah, Sasural Genda Phool are few examples of good thought provoking stories with mass appeal to them."
