Sumeet Raghavan to host first TV show on the internet

Jay Hind! Independence Day is around the corner but Sumeet Raghvan will ensure that these words buzz through your ears regularly. In a first of its kind, the country is set to witness its first TV show that will air not on TV but available only on the internet. Produced by Undercover production, Jay Hind is country’s first TV show for the internet. The show launches on 15 August. Abhigyan Jha, founder of Undercover Productions, says, “This is the start of a new trend. Never before have our viewers seen a TV show for the internet. So you don’t need TV, all you need is the internet. Whether it’s your laptop or even the mobile phone, you favourite show is just a click away.” Abhigyan Jha is famous for producing Movers & Shakers, the show that made Shekhar Suman a superstar. Jay Hind is also a stand-up show though guests aren’t part of it yet. Speaking on his host, Jha says, “Sumeet is an outstanding talent. He’s got a great sense of humour and comic timing. I believe this is the first time that he’s doing stand-up comedy but he’s been excellent. We couldn’t have got a better guy than him.” We say jai ho to this idea.
