MUMBAI: Mandar Chandwadkar is best known for playing the role of Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide in the Hindi sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He wished fans on the special occasion of Mahashivratri.
The actor recited the Mahāmrityunjaya Mantra, but fan replied saying, "Bhide bhai.... Bhagwan ke samne boliye... Camera ke samne nhi (Bhide brother, say this in front of God and not the camera)."
Mandar wrote in reply, "You are right dear bhagwan ke samne bhi bola he maine… vaise hum kalakaro ke liye audience bhagvan se kam nahi hoti bhool chuk maf" (You are right, I said this in front of God as well...but for us artists, even audience is no less than God..sorry for any mistake).
His response won over his fans.
Even the user, who originally wrote the comment, replied, "Apne dil jeet liya.... I was watching TMKOC on TV and checking Instagram as well and suddenly saw your post and you commented in a jolly mood... Your reply made my day."
Have a look.
Mandar was a mechanical engineer and was working in Dubai but left his job for his passion for acting. Had Mandar not followed his dream, we wouldn’t have gotten such an amazing artist.
