Suzana Ghai teams up with Hemant Ruparel and Ranjeet Thakur to produce a love story for Star Plus

Suzana Ghai, who earlier held the position of Head of Fiction – Programming, Star Plus has now turned a Producer and is working on an interesting love story. She joins hands with Hemant Ruparel and Ranjeet Thakur (who produced successful reality shows like Dance India Dance, DID L’il Masters, Nach Baliye under the banner Frames Productions) to form a new company named ‘Panorama Entertainment’. Panorama Entertainment will solely produce fiction shows and the news is that they have already pitched their first concept to Star Plus. As per a reliable source, the pilot for the same has been submitted to the channel, and the producers await the results of the research as of now. We hear that the love story which will have a special message to convey has an interesting cast with some fresh faces who come with ‘no baggage’ If sources are to be believed, Saahil Mehta who essayed the lead role in Subhash Ghai’s movie Love Express has been cast as the lead for this show. Neha Yadav, who was also seen in the movie Love Express under the ‘filmy’ name of Mannat Ravi plays one of the lead girls. Rajoshi Vidyarthi, wife of acclaimed actor Ashish Vidyarthi will be essaying a very important role in the show, is what we get to understand. We tried contacting Hemant Ruparel, but could not get through to him. When contacted, Suzana Ghai expressed her happiness at turning producer as she said, “I have been part of channels for 10 long years. Now I get the opportunity to turn producer. We have pitched a soap, with a love story to Star Plus. We have shot the pilot for the same with fresh faces. However, it is too early to talk about anything about the concept.
