MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is among the longest running and most watched shows on TV. It has won the audience’s hearts with its clean and situational humour.
All the characters in the show, such as Jethalal, Tarak Mehta, and Tappu, form the backbone of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Dayaben is one such hilarious character that was initially played by Disha Vakani. Her accent, antics, and humour were unmatchable. Disha left the show in 2017 post embracing motherhood, and since then, the makers have not found a suitable replacement for her role. A month ago, a video floated on the internet that suggested Disha's comeback on the show. However, the news faded away soon. But now a viral video of a girl emulating the iconic character of Dayaben hints a perfect replacement found.
