Producer Asit Kumarr Modi’s ‘Clean India’ campaign spread its wings yet again this morning, when the the producer along with few actors from his popular show on SAB TV, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went to the Juhu beach, a day after the Ganpati visarjan to clean the place and keep it devoid of garbage and broken idols.
Yes, and Asit Modi was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar and Sonalika Joshi) along with their on-screen daughter, Sonu played by Nidhi Bhanushali.
As per our credible sources, “The Producer along with the actors took to the Juhu beach today morning at 6.30 am to take their ‘Clean India’ message ahead.”
A day after the Visarjan, the beach is usually piled up with broken idols scattered all along the beach. And when contacted, Producer Asit Modi did comment saying, “This year, everything was much more organized and the beach was not so overly littered. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to do our bit to keep our city clean.”
