Talented lot in the TV industry don't get opportunity to showcase their ability due to favouritism: Syed Zafar Ali

Businessman cum actor Syed Zafar Ali, who can be currently seen playing Jay’s boss in Colors’ Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon Ki, is still waiting for the right role to come his way. This actor has been in the industry for six years having worked in some well known shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil, Kayamath, Diya Aur Baati Hum and Parvarrish. However, he still feels that the industry has not been able to tap his talent. As a matter of fact, Syed Zafar is of the opnion that he is not the only one as there are a lot of other talented people who do not even get to prove themselves due to the prevailing system. “There is this talented lot that does not get to showcase their ability due to favouritism. Channels and the production houses either rope in people they know really well, or faces that would sell. So, the talent out there is just wasted,” he avers. “I have been in the industry for six years now and I just want to do good roles. And, though I have been associated with some very good shows I feel my talent hasn’t been explored yet,” adds the artiste. When asked as to how he manages to handle his event company and acting at the same time he tells us, “The people whom I work with know me extremely well. So, there has never been an issue as far as time is concerned.” Well Syed, we just hope that you get some challenging roles in the future!!!
