‘The Elbow Touch’ – Alan Kapoor and Preet Kaur Madhan come up with a new way to greet co-actors on the sets of Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi

MUMBAI: Life after the pandemic has changed to quite an extreme extent. Gone are those days where actors could greet each other without holding back their feelings. A carefree loving warm hug, an enthusiastic high-five or a firm handshake now seem to be customs of the distant future. While actors are consciously refraining to indulge in these traditional ways of greeting each other, Alan Kapoor and Preet Kaur Madhan who essay the role of Angad and Naveli respectively in Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi which currently airs on Dangal TV have devised a new fun way to greet their co-actors. They call it ‘The Elbow Touch’.

Talking about the latest way of greeting each other, Alan Kapoor says, “Since social or physical distancing is the new normal, we actors on the set of Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi have come up with a new way of showing our affection to each other by greeting with ‘The Elblow Touch’. While we wear face masks and hand gloves, this way we are greeting each other with a slight nudge but are much safer than a handshake or hug. Earlier, the first thing that we used to do after coming on the set was to hug our co-actors.”

Sharing her experience of joining the show and being greeted with warmth, Preet Kaur Madhan says, “It has been a great experience to be on set with wonderful co-actors. We hit it off from the word go and felt like we were friends for years. With such lovely people around, greeting them with love and warmth just comes so naturally. However since we can’t hug or shake hands while greeting each other in the morning, ‘The Elbow Touch’ is the new trending way we display our affection to each other.”

Let’s see if ‘The Elbow Touch’ becomes the new normal to greet each other and keeps the atmosphere relaxed and easy going.

Alan Kapoor and Preet Kaur Madhan are currently seen in Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi daily at 7 pm only on Dangal TV. The show is sure to keep viewers excited and gripped with a new turn of events.

Dangal TV is available in all leading cable networks and DTH platforms –DD Free Dish (CHN NO 27), Tata Sky (CHN NO 177), Airtel (CHN NO 133), Dish TV (CHN NO 119) and Videocon D2H (CHN NO 106).
