The journey of Family No 2 begins…

The family is back. But this time, it's extended with more characters. Family No 1 is soon planning to have a come back as Family No 2 on Sab Sony. The basic storyline will be the same but will be twisted a little. "I am really excited about its sequel.Family No 2 will see new star cast, as it will be a new generation. Kanwaljeet and Tanvi Azmi will now have their grand children in action. But here we will show that Tanvi Azmi, the mother of the rival house is dead." To this Sanjay Kohli, the head of Edit 2 Production adds, "And the story will continue in a way that both the families are now a happy big family, but the subtle rivalry still exists," says Benaifer Kohli, who earlier produced Family No 1. When we contact Kanwaljeet, he seemed clueless about this turn of event. "I have no clue about this. And when I have not heard about it, not been asked about it, then why should I talk about it," shrugs the actor. Tanvi Azmi, who played the hassled mother in the first part, will not be part of the show anymore. "It's been long time now. But yes it was definitely great fun till it lasted, but I prefer moving on," says the actress who recently quit Zee's Sinndoor. The production house is still in the process of finalising things with Sab Sony. Sequels are totally in, and if it's a matter of famous families then it's totally in vogue! After Hum Paanch now it's Family No 2 that will give their audience a taste of family life.
