The game of Bigg Boss (Colors and Endemol India), is not all about how contestants react or behave with each other. It is also about the psychological manipulations of the creative team which churns out tasks and situations which trigger violent responses.
Now, one other important factor in the show is the editing machine and the editor who cuts the day’s happenings in a way which can make or break the image of a contestant.
Armaan Kohli is one name which has emerged as one of the most controversial and talked about inmates of this season. His brutal, boisterous attitude towards fellow contestants (especially women) has drawn criticism from all quarters.
Yesterday, staying true to his image and attitude, he during a task went on to have a verbal exchange with Sofia Hayat and hit her on the face with a mop.
But what made us curious was that fact that the scene, moment or the episode was not aired. When Armaan hit Sofia (accidentally or deliberately is something we cannot vouch for), the show aired a close up reaction shot of Gauahar Khan, who looked flabbergasted at the happening, instead of the “hitting” scene.
Later lot of ruckus unfolded over the violent act but the moment that led to the entire commotion was edited out.
Here we would like to ask why was the scene not aired? Is the maker of Bigg Boss defending Armaan or the integrity of the show in order to avoid criticism/flak and return with seasons after seasons?
Well, we leave it to the readers of Tellychakkar.com and the viewers of the show to answer. All we can say, violence in any form is condemnable.
We tried getting a response from channel but the officials remained unavailable.
