Tulsi bids adieu

Star's TRP raker Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is in for some major drama. After reigning supreme for over seven years and becoming a household name, Tulsi Virani, the iconic character will die in tomorrow's episode. For those uninitiated, Tulsi is currently in an mental asylum thanks to her grandson Aansh. She tries to escape through the tunnel but is caught by the doctor and the asylum staff. But then she manages to escape from the asylum posing as a dead body to be taken for cremation. Luck favours her as after a lot of hurdles she finds a truck and hides herself. But unfortunately, she doesn't realise that the drunken truck driver is an open invitation to an accident that will actually cost her life. Unfortunately for Tulsi, the truck goes down in the valley and blasts. Burnt parts of the truck are hauled out of the valley and so are the burnt bodies. Meanwhile the asylum doctor and his staff finds Tulsi's asylum tag at the accident spot and they inform Tanya about the mishap. All the three bahu's rush to the spot of the accident and they all scream seeing the horrific state of the body. But then will the character return back as in all Balaji soaps? Creative Head Balaji Nivedita Basu says, "The current track is being weaved in because Smriti Irani is being replaced by another actor. Also, we are adding many more characters in the show and removing things which viewers are fed up of." So who will be the new Tulsi? And will Smriti return back to the show after a sabbatical? "I cannot reveal more details about this as for now. I am doing whatever Ekta has asked me to do and if things are better between both of them, maybe Smriti will come back after a few months; but now she is defninitely being replaced." says Nivedita. Tulsi's death will bring about a sea change in the relationships in the Virani house. And what will happen to the Virani parivaar without its Tulsi?
