TV has made me what I am today: Vishal Singh

Vishal Singh

Good looking and well mannered is the man of the day. Yes, we are talking about actor Vishal Singh, who came to limelight with his brilliant performance in Star Plus’ show Saathiya.

After creating a niche for him in the telly town, the man is all set to set his foot in Bollywood with his debut venture Traffic.

To congratulate the man, we ringed him and Vishal sounded glee at his success. “Initially, I was nervous about taking up the project. Now, with everyone praising the film I am very happy. I am overwhelmed to receive such positive response. This, I believe is just the beginning of my journey in the film industry. In coming days I would love to work with directors like Imtaiz Ali, Anurag Basu, Anurag Kashyap, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and many more.”

Vishal, many actors have quit television and join films only to witness a not so successful journey. Aren’t you scared that you might meet the same fate as them? Vishal with a smile replied, “Nahi yaar (no way buddy)! It’s not that I have left television or have quit Saathiya, even when I do films, I will be attached to television. After all, it is the small screen which has made me what I am today.”

Vishal, who has walked on the ramp for international fashion shows, also wish to explore his designer side and looks forward to open up a boutique someday.

Before signing off we ask the actor about how he maintains his relationships in the glamour world. After a hearty laugh Vishal averred, “There is no formula to be cordial with everyone. It’s just that my parents have brought me up in that way, they taught me to be polite and nice to everyone. I guess that is the secret of being friendly with all.”

Vishal we have to say that your parents have indeed brought you to be a noble, young man. Keep up the good work.
