&TV’s Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai to end on 15 July

Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai

&TV’s Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai, will certainly be remembered for its very interesting musically inclined concept and for its realistic presentation of situations... Also, let us not forget that this show made way for huge names like Deepti Naval, Zarina Wahab, Amrita Rao, Aditi Vasudev, Pallavi Joshi, Eijaz Khan to be seen together...

The show which was always meant to be a finite series will wrap up on 15 July, is what we hear.

As per a source, “The show did not rake in big ratings, but has come out as a very beautiful experiment, showcasing the lives of two sisters and their journey bound by music. The show will end with the passage of 21 years, wherein both the sisters Kalyani (Deepti Naval) and Ketki (Zarina Wahab) reconcile and decide to forget their bitter past.”

We hear that the makers had to run through the climax and give it a wrap within the given period of time. The coming episodes will soon show the jump in time, and the focus will be on the sisters patching up.

When contacted, Producer Nivedita Basu told us, “I am thankful to everyone who trusted me with Meri Awaaz. This was my first show, and it was a happy branding.”

As we know, Meri Awaaz has been the first for Nivedita Basu as Producer under her new banner, The House of Originals.

Meri Awaaz will be replaced by Naresh Borde’s Tere Bin, starring Gaurav Khanna and Shefali Sharma.

Will you miss the team of Meri Awaaz in action? Let’s bid adieu to all associated with the show...
