Upasana plays maid in Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale

Upasana Singh would soon join the cast of the recently launched comedy, Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale on SAB TV. Speaking about her role, she plays a bai (maid servant) in the Sharmas’ house. “I play a cunning Marathi bai from Mumbai. She forcefully enters their house taking advantage of the couple’s goodness and innocence,” she explains. She further adds, “My character troubles the couple a lot. She steals in their house and gossips about them to neighbours. However, she later realises that they are too good to be treated that way and ends up staying in their house.” Though the actress isn’t sure about the duration of her stay in the show, she feels she would be making frequent appearances. Singh was earlier seen in similar roles in films like Ishq Vishq and My Friend Ganesha. Her entry is expected in a couple of days.
