MUMBAI: Actor Vaibhav Mathur is ecstatic about being a part of the Ravan Leela sequence in Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. The actor, who will essay the role of Apsara, says that he loves his role. ‘I am playing a role of Apsara, which is the funniest character. The character is popping in and out of the scene. It was quite interesting,’ he says.
Talking about the preparation required, Vaibhav adds, ‘It takes me almost one and a half hours to get into the look.’
What do you think of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain?
The sequence is making him quite nostalgic. ‘I was reminded of Ram Leela Mela where I would go with parents and enjoy a lot,’ he says.
‘It's true that good always wins over evil. Today, also we see many evil things happening around us but positivity or goodness always prevails,’ he adds.
The actor urges more people to watch Ram Leela. ‘I think it’s a tradition of Indian society and it should be followed generation after generation so that the youth can learn about it and get some values from it.’
