To be directed by Amol Surve of Shirdi ke Saibaba and Shagun fame, Shivani will go on air from Thursday, 1 June, on DD's Sahayadri. With an experience of anchoring Surf Wheel of Fortune under her belt, Vaibhavi is also committed to do a comic series called Zara Si Zindagi with a Pakistani channel. Like other telly stars, Vaibhavi has also tried her luck on the big screen with films like Arjun Pandit, Dillagi and Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya. About Shivani Shivani is an ordinary, middle class, working girl who turns into a crusader when she loses her brother, a marketing manager in a Gutkha company, to his addiction. Circumstances compel her to declare war upon wrongful practices, social injustices and corruption otherwise rampant in society. Her grandfather (Sudhir Dalvi) is her emotional support through her struggles against the red tape and corrupt system and officials. Shivani's courage helps others to come out of their shells and stand up for their rights. Written by Arvind Jagtap, the music of Shivani has been composed by RAPA award winning music director Dhananjay Kale.
