MUMBAI: Shaleen Malhotra is one of the most loved actors who has consistently given some strong performances throughout his career, starting from 2011 with Adaalat, a courtroom drama serial that starred Ronit Roy.
The actor was last seen in Checkmate, a Hungama series. However, he was very much loved in Vanshaj, a Sony SAB serial where he played a strong character and garnered a lot of love.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, it was pointed out how Shaleen has played some very strong characters and that it would be interesting to see him playing an out-and-out comedy role.
To this, Shaleen Malhotra said, “I played part of it but it got surfaced under because I was doing Karan and Balli. Karan, that character was such a big rage that Balli never could have overtaken Karan.” He further talked about comedy as a genre and said, “That’s I think is one of the rassas in acting, Hasya ras and I have to explore.”
