Varun Badola and Suchita Trivedi roped in for Sphereorigin's next for Star Plus

Varun Badola and Suchita Trivedi

Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively reporting about Sphereorigin’s upcoming show for Star Plus, tentatively titled Hum that will bring back an afternoon band for the channel.

We have already written about Ekta Kaul playing the female protagonist, with Ashiesh Kaul, Ananya Khare, Charu Asopa, Neeraj Malviya playing pivotal roles.

Now we hear that seasoned actors Varun Badola and Suchita Trivedi have been roped in for important roles.

Varun who was last seen in Life OK’s Tumhari Paakhi will play father to the male protagonist, while Suchita who will be making a comeback of sorts to TV after Bh Se Bhade will play the wife of Varun and mother to the main guy.

A reliable source states, “Varun will play a disciplinarian, while Suchita will be the doting and romantic wife as well as the loving mother.”

When contacted, Varun told us, “Yes, it is true that I have been approached for the show. However, I am yet to take things forward.”

Suchita told us, “It is true that I have been considered for an important role. But I have not signed any contract yet to give you a confirmation.”

As we know, Varun’s wife Rajeshwari Badola will be seen in Sphereorigin’s long-running show Balika Vadhu. And now, Varun too will join them with this show.

Here’s wishing all the very best to Varun and Suchita.
