MUMBAI: After a long and tiring day of work, all you crave for is a relaxing head massages. And what is better than a daughter giving you the best head oil massage? Varun Badola, who is playing Amber, the protagonist in Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, considers himself as the lucky one as his on-screen daughter, Anjali Tatrari, gives him the best head massages after hectic shoots.
Says Varun Badola, “I recently discovered that Anjali is very good with head oil massages, and I am reaping the benefit of her skill… especially after a long and tiring day of shoot. Off-screen too, I treat her like a daughter, and have no qualms asking her for a head massage. I am sure she doesn’t mind too.” Sharing about their bond he adds, “Anjali is a bubbly girl. She makes fun out of nowhere and this is what I admire about her. She keeps the positivity alive on the sets with her nature.”
Essaying the role of a 24-year-old ambitious girl, Niya Sharma, Anjali Tatrari, said, “I lost my father when I was just four years old. But I have found a father figure in Varun sir and we are very fond of each other and share a unique bond. So, one day, when I saw him very tired, I asked if he would be interested in a head massage and he agreed. From that day, he comes to me for a head massage whenever the shoot becomes tiring. I oblige to the same as I would have done the same for my father. I now have to treat Shweta ma’am, who plays Guneet on the show, to my massages one of these days.”
With such camaraderie on the sets, we are sure that the bonding of the cast of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan will show on-screen too. Don’t forget to watch this light-hearted drama on Sony Entertainment Television starting 11th November
