The story of Maulkki will revolve around a relatively old man (Amar Upadhyay) getting married to a young girl (Priyal Mahajan).
The latest we hear is that Casting director turned actor Ved Bharadwaj has been roped in for the show.
Ved has acted in a movie titled 'Dna Mein Gandhiji'.
We could not get through him for a comment.
Maulkki will mark Amar and Balaji’s reunion after several years. Amar played the iconic character of Mihir Virani in Balaji’s most popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
The show will also star actors namely Supriya Shukla and Abhay Bhargava playing pivotal roles.
