MUMBAI: After having shared screen space with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Govinda and many more, talented actor Sanjay Narvekar is all set to make his fiction television debut. He will be seen in an upcoming TV show titled ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. Needless to say, the veteran actor is extremely excited to explore the fiction genre on TV for the first time.
Sanjay has impressed, entertained audiences with his work in various Bollywood and Marathi movies as well as comedy plays. And he is popularly known for his role of ‘Dedh Futiya’ in the movie Vaastav which turned his life around. Now he will be seen playing the role of Sub-Inspector Kamal Joshi who stays with his daughter Sai Joshi (played by Ayesha Singh) in Gadchiroli.
Commenting on his role Sanjay Narvekar says, “I have been in working in films and plays for almost 3 decades now. When Producer Rajesh Ram Singh who also is my friend and Director Jaideep Sen approached me for this unique, strong and powerful role in the show, I simply couldn’t refuse the offer. I have always had high regard for television and this medium reaches out to a lot more people than other mediums. It’s a great thing for an actor like me to reach out to as many people as possible through TV. I am very excited to make my fiction television debut with ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ and looking forward to playing the role of SI Kamal Joshi. I hope that viewers love me in this all-new dynamic action-emotional-fatherly avatar on television. The storyline is very interesting and with this show, I will be able to connect with a new set of audience. “
Talking about working amid the ongoing pandemic, he says, “Yes, it is a different experience working with all the safety measures. We are trying to take as many precautions as we can on the sets. It has become a part of everyone’s life now.”
Well, we can’t wait to see the ace actor on TV with this show. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, produced by Cockcrow, Shaika Entertainment also features Neil Bhatt (Virat Chauhan) and Aishwarya Sharma (Patralekha) in lead roles. The show is all set to launch on Star Plus from 5th October onwards based on the story of an IPS officer Virat Chauhan who will be seen torn between his love and duty.
