Viraj Babbar on his career: I knew what I was signing up for

MUMBAI :  It is far from easy to have a career where hits as well as misses are open to the public eye, says actor Viraj Babbar. However, he adds that he has never let this bother him.

“I have always said that I knew what I was signing up for, all the pros and cons of this career were weighed before I decided to dedicate all my blood and sweat to this.

I have seen people troll others online, but I know it's all baseless, and I know for sure that no one cares about those meaningless trolls. I mean you know if your work is good or bad, and whether the backlash you are getting online is in fact criticism or just baseless trolling.
Also, I have always believed in preparing to the fullest, I would never go unprepared to any place. So that gives me an edge, and fortunately enough I have not had any misses yet, though I know it's just the beginning and sooner or later I may face a failure. All said and done, I know one thing that failure is the best teacher and it will teach me a lot, whenever I fail,” he says.

Ask him how he reacts to failure, and he says, “I am really in my early stage of the career and so I haven't failed yet, but we do fail in our daily lives, and so have I failed a few times. I learn from it, but I can't sit and pout about it, I have to move on and clear the mess that the failure has created.”

He adds, “One needs to have a strong foundation so that these small failures don't disrupt their life. Everyone needs to move on towards their success, they say that success is just getting up one more time than you fail. So we need to get up every time and keep the hard work on, eventually we will succeed. And for times like these, I just believe that there's something better written for me in my destiny and I keep grinding.”
