MUMBAI: For a variety of reasons, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin (GHKMP) has made headlines. The show's makers are doing everything they can to keep the viewers interested in the show, from the unexpected turn of events to the recently introduced leap. Karanvir Bohra entered the cast of the program to portray Bhavar Patil. The makers did not initially consider Karanvir for the role of Bhavar, as per the insight received by the popular news portal from an insider.

Vishal Aditya Singh was the first choice to play Bhavar Patil. According to a source close to the show, Vishal was asked to play the role but he rejected it. Karanvir was later asked to play Bhavar Patil by the makers.
According to our source, "Vishal Aditya Singh was approached for the role of Bhavar Patil in GHKPM, but he declined it due to reasons best known to him." The source further confirms that Vishal was also considered to play the main lead after the leap.
"Vishal was also considered for the main lead role for the post-leap phase, but he refused this offer as well," says our source.
Regarding the story's twists and turns, reports suggest that the producers intend to add several actors to the cast to spice up the drama. According to one of the sources, actress Kaveri Priyam from Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has been cast as the parallel lead in GHKPM.
It was also claimed in the news report that Varun Jain will be seen playing a strong character. In addition to Kaveri and Varun, other actors cast for the program after its leap include Sagar Saini from Teri Meri Doriyaann and Pallavi Pradhan from Jija Maa.
Mansi Salve and Indreniel Bhattacharya might also rejoin the show. It is expected that Hitesh Bharadwaj offers an official confirmation about the claims indicating that he will be playing the role of the new male lead.
