Actor Vishal Thakkar known for his roles in Munna Bhai MBBS, Taraak Mehta and many more shows has been booked on rape charges.
An actress has filed the case with the Charkop Police in Kandivali. FIR has been registered against Vishal yesterday (17 October). As per information, the actor is currently absconding.
The victim who has acted in TV serials like Padosan, Jai Bajrang Bali & Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltaah Chashma has reportedly accused Vishal of raping her at his home.
The police have charged the actor under sections 376, 420, 323, 509 & 506 of IPC.
