Akanksha Singh may appear all docile in Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Sunshine Productions), but converse with her and you will realise how smart and intelligent an actor she is. She is mostly seen wearing sarees in the show but in real life, she loves to wear tunics and shorts. And actors of today love to flaunt their curvaceous bodies and grab eyeballs. So is Akanksha comfortable donning a bikini? “Bikini is a complete no-no for me,’ she says. What about modeling…is she interested in it? “I am just not interested in modeling. It’s not my cup of tea.” The lovely lady then goes on to talk about the concept of idle relationship. “Two most important things in a relationship are trust and authority; however faith and respect are also important. But we overlook these qualities when we meet someone for the first time as we judge a person on the basis of looks. But I strongly believe that one can compromise on the matter of looks for once but not heart.” Quite noble thoughts, Akanksha. Then she talks about the men whom she finds attractive. “I was crazy about R Madhavan as he is so cute. Then comes on the list Shahid Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh. I also like Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan.” So what is her take on marriage? “I believe in love and love marriage. My parents and my elder sister went for love marriage and they are very happy in their lives. Hence, I would love to fall in love and get married to that person.” And all you guys out there who want to woo Akanksha, here’s her idea of a perfect date. “See we all look for a fairy tale date but then that’s not what I’d expect as I feel if a person really likes me he will see to it that the things around me are special.” But she hates boys who trouble her unnecessarily. And before signing off, we give an exclusive sneak peek into Akanksha’s bedroom. “My bedroom has my pillow, my teddy bear and my TV. And I have this pillow from the last ten years and I can’t sleep without it. I also carry it wherever I travel.”
