Bollywood stars aren’t the only ones to experience fan frenzy, and receive marriage proposals or letters written in blood. Our television actors, too, enjoy a fair share of this fandom.
And while they can’t thank their fans enough for all the love and admiration, there are times when few gifts by fans make them emotional.
That’s exactly what happened with the pretty Monica Sehgal.
The actress took nation by storm through her sweet simple Radhika avatar, in Star Plus’ Manmarziyan.
Surprisingly, this was Monica’s debut serial, and she is already one of the most popular stars in demand.
The beauty was in for a pleasant surprise when she received a scrap book filled with her photograph, tweets and quotes.
“I was taken aback when my fans Ekta and Anand Kulkarni sent me the scrap book. I am touched as this was my first official ‘fan’ gift. Tears rolled down when I read the first message. It was an extremely kind gesture and I am truly humbled by the love and affection. I am feeling very proud for having touched so many hearts,” said Monica.
