When Samir Sharma addressed depression after Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide, "Do you understand the meaning of taking your own life?"

Sameer Sharma was founded dead in his Mumbai residence and his demise had left the entire industry in a state of shock.

MUMBAI: Samir Sharma, yet another Bollywood actor, ended his life this week at his Malad residence. On June 14 Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide had rocked Bollywood, post which Samir had shared an interesting note talking about the importance of mental health. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, it was reported that the actor was diagnosed with depression and that’s what Samir had also addressed in his social media post. Samir wrote at length about depression being a devil that just won't stop screaming and that the person who takes one's own life is not a coward.

Samir, who was 44 years old, was found dead at this home. According to ANI, an accidental death report has been registered and his body has been sent for autopsy. Malad police is reportedly suspecting that the actor died by suicide two days back.

Sidharth Malhotra, Samir’s co-star from ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ had expressed grief and shared on Instagram, “Really sad and unfortunate”. Dipannita Sharma also fondly remembered the actor and had shared on Twitter, “You came home for a get together with a friend . You were affable , instantly likeable & had such a warm vibe. We spoke about my sister because you had worked with her in a tv show&then I sadly never met you. Would ask about you often though. R.I.P #SameerSharma. I’m speechless.”
