MUMBAI: Elections 2019 have begun, and actors and celebrities are urging their followers to vote for their choice of government.

Actor Harsh Rajput, currently seen in Star Plus’ Nazar, gave an example of being a responsible citizen.

The handsome lad especially took an off from his busy shooting schedule to caste his vote at his hometown Gujrat.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Harsh and asked him about the elections, to which he said, 'I never fail to vote, because I feel it's not just our right but our responsibility too. This time also, I don't want to miss the opportunity to participate in selecting the government. That's why I especially took a day off and went to my hometown Navsari (Gujrat) for voting.'

On the importance of voting, Harsh added, 'We need to understand that every vote counts. If we don't vote, unsuitable candidates might win, and in the end, we the voters are going to suffer. I would request everyone, especially social media warriors, to come out and cast their votes.'
