MUMBAI: Krushna Abhishek, who also goes by the name Abhishek Sharma, is an Indian film actor and a comedian and a dancer who had earlier participated in numerous dance reality shows like Nach Baliye 3 (2007) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 (2010). Reports have it that his dance moves are greatly inspired by his superstar maternal uncle - Bollywood actor Govinda.
Before everything else, he had debuted on the small-screen as a television actor for the 1996 TV show Just Mohabbat, wherein he played the role of Vishal. Thenafter, he took a leap into Bollywood with the 2002 movie Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai as well as in Tollywood in the Tamil movie Enge Enadhu Kavithai, that released in the same year as well. In that year itself, Krushna also starred in a Bhojpuri movie Tohar Pyar Chahi.
While featuring in many other TV series as well as in Bollywood and regional movies, Krushna had also participated in many dance reality shows. In the celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye 3 and in reality show Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar, he was a participant along with his then-girlfriend (now wife) Kashmira Shah. He went on to win the latter.
As a celebrity couple, the duo had also participated in the reality show Love Lock Up on UTV Bindass in 2011.

Now, amid all this, it was in the year 2008 that Krushna stepped into the world of Indian comedy by stepping onboard the 2008 comedy reality show Comedy Circus 2 as a stand-up comedian. He had received the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role (2014) for the same.

For his mind-blowing comic delivery, he re-appeared in Comedy Circus 3 (2009), wherein he was paired with Sudesh Lehri. Krushna's and Sudesh's comic jodi was a super-hit, such that the duo was being referred to as - Krushna-Sudesh (as one name). In 2015, the duo was even felicitated with the Indian Television Academy Award for Popular Comedy-Duo.

He hosted the comedy show Comedy Ka Daily Soap, which aired on Sony TV from 16 August 2010 to 7 October 2010.

In 2014-15, he portrayed various comical characters in Comedy Classes.

In 2015-17, he again played various characters who also played as the host of the comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao. For this, he won the BIG Star Most Entertaining Jury/ Host - (TV) Non Fiction (2015) along with co-comedian Bharti Singh.

In 2016, Krushna got to portray the iconic stand-up character of Pappu Singh in Comedy Nights Live.

In 2017-18, Krushna again portrayed various characters on Sony TV's comedy show The Drama Company, alongside comedians Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra, Sudesh Lehri and Sanket Bhosale, while Mithu Chakraborty featured as it's permanent guest.

From 2018 to 2020, he's an integral part of Sony TV's popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show. The show is hosted by Kapil Sharma, while Krushna portrays the iconic role of Sapna Lal Nalasoparia. In 2019, he won the ITA Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for the same.
