MUMBAI: Television actress Hina Khan has said that she doesn't care if she can't 'vibe' with her co-stars. She further agreed that she comes across as a snob because she is reticent about interacting with strangers.
In an interview, the actor spoke about the perception that has been developed about her in certain circles and said that she does not have friends in the film and television industry.
Asked if people are intimidated by her, she told RJ Siddharth Kannan, "I come across as a snob, someone who would not talk to you, in my first impression, and that's true. I am that kind of a person. I will not talk to you if I don't know you. I may try once... I believe in vibes a lot. I have to vibe with a person to interact with them. People might call me a snob, and that's okay. But I really believe in vibes. This is me in my personal life. But otherwise, in professional life, it really doesn't matter if you vibe or not. If that person is my co-actor, I really don't care.".

Asked who her best friends in the industry are, Hina said in Hindi, "If by friends you mean people who catch up every Saturday, then I don't have any friends. I meet people once in six months... But I know, if I need something... Especially during this difficult time in my life, I was shocked to see how much love around, how people kept checking in on me, from Mouni (Roy), Aamna (Sharif), Aamna's husband Amit, Parth (Samthaan)...".
Hina recently lost her father, and some time later was diagnosed with the coronavirus. In a social media post, she thanked her fans for their support, and wrote, "My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on the 20th of April, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times.".
