Uday Shankar, CEO of Star India, threw a party for directors, producers, creatives, amongst others, who have worked with him, is working with him and will work with him in the future. I went with my creative team, Arshad, Jaffery and Shokhi Banerjee. The best part about the party was that it was wonderfully organized. Each and everyone present in the do were attended personally and it was made sure that everyone felt special.

The venue was Taj Lands End and the after entering the hotel there was a big media wall. Usually producers are a bit shy in nature and feel uncomfortable to come in front of the cameras, but at the party everyone clicked photos and interacted with each other.
Furthermore, I must share one thing with you. It was amazing how they did research on every guest. I like single malt on the rocks and they served me exactly the same. They made sure that my glass was never empty. And they knew what I loved to eat. It was great.
I want to share that Uday is such a big figure in the world of television but he is so humble, down to earth and easy to connect. He is truly inspiring.
To conclude, I should admit that it was one of the best parties that I have attended in the recent times.
