MUMBAI: As the situation escalates between India and Pakistan, producer-director Rajan Shahi has taken to social media to voice his support with the defense forces. India launched Operation Sindoor yesterday, in retaliation to the recent Pahalgham attack. The operation was a precision strike by Indian armed forces targeting terrorist camps across the border.

Rajan, known for hit shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa, expressed his strong support for the Indian armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He writes, “Salute to our armed forces for these surgical strikes on terrorist hideout in terrorist Pakistan” adding, “Applaud the sentiment of zero tolerance to this terrorist country which harbours anti-world and anti-Indian terrorist.”

He further writes, “Bharat stands for peace harmony but now enough is enough. our secular ideology of peaceful coexistence is not to be taken as our weakness. Full support to our brave soldiers and respected prime minister of India Shri Narendra Modiji for his full support and faith in our armed forces.

He says that the time to act is now. “Time also to take strict action against those "gaddars" within our country who question and mock our armed forces. We and you are safe at our homes because of our brave soldiers. Just for vote bank, some encourage infiltrators who are anti-Indian and take away the resources of true citizens of Bharat,” he writes.

Rajan, who has always been an advocate for harmony and inclusion in the entertainment industry, added, “I am proud I belong to an industry—film and TV—where all religions stand united with respect for each other and work in complete harmony, where our karm is first, then our religion. Today I'm sure every true Indian citizen will stand united against the terrorist and Pakistan who is host to them. This message is not against the Pakistan citizen who wants peace and peaceful coexistence but those who are perpetrating terrorism.”

He signs off by writing, “Nation is above anyone and everything. Salute to our brave armed forces as a proud Indian. Jai Hind. Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
