MUMBAI: While there are a whole lot of daily soaps which are launched and planned to be launched, there are some shows which have bit the dust too.
The television medium is going through a sea change and with the digital medium booming largely, there is a whole lot of attempt being made to present the best of the concepts and content on television. Over the period of time, there are many shows which have made way for new narratives. Fans sometimes still miss watching these shows on television and often take to the channel apps to watch them again and again.
As we are close to the year coming to an end, we bring to you a comprehensive list of all the shows which went off-air in 2019!

Gathbandhan:
The story of how Raghu, a criminal from Mumbai falls in love with Dhanak, an IPS officer from Gujarat and the problems he faces due to his mother was a visual treat. The storyline was quite interesting and entertained the audience till 27 November.
Main Bhi Ardhangini:
A supernatural clubbed with fiction drama, Main Bhi Ardhangini was a show about a shape shifting snake, Mahamaya who is in search of Madhav, who she believes has killed her family. The show went off-air on 1st November
Jhansi Ki Rani:
The serial on Colors was a historical period drama about British rulers planning to conquer Jhansi, and Manikarnika, the queen of Jhansi waging war against them.
Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha:
When a beggar asks King Vikramaditya to bring him a corpse from the jungle, he comes across Betaal, a ghost who narrates stories to him, and at the end of every tale, asks him to answer a question. The show was much loved back the in the 90’s as much as it was liked this year. Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha released on 16th October 2018 and went off-air on 24 May 2019.
Krishna Chali London:
A unique bond develops between Krishna, a widow struggling to cope with her husband's sudden death, and Veer, an accomplished doctor.
Kesari Nandan:
This show was a unique one where the young Kesari, took it upon herself to fulfil her father’s dreams of becoming a wrestling champion against all odds and the mentality of the society towards women.
Ishqbaaaz:
Ishqbaaaz was tremendously loved not only because of its drama but also gave too many fashion goals. The Nakuul Mehta-Surbhi Chandna starrer went off-air in March this year.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein:
Divyanka Tripathi-Karan Patel starrer show was so much appreciated and had a great run for 6 years. People loved watching the romance of Ishita and Raman. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein went off-air recently giving way to its spin-off, Yeh Hai Chahatein!
Vish ya Amrit: Sitara
This was a supernatural that had Shilpa Saklani returning to the small screen as an antagonist and Adaa Khan as the protagonist. The show failed to grab the audience’s attention and went off-air in less than a year in June.
Ishq Mein Marjawan
This show was a thriller and had Aalisha Panwar and Arjun Bijlani in the central roles. The show faced its ups and downs and the role of Aalisha was later essayed by Nia Sharma.
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai was immensely loved and was one of the most popular and watched shows. People could not have more of it but the makers ended the show as it was decided.
Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna
The show had Shrenu Parikh play the antagonist opposite Zain Imam. Fans saw a completely different shade of the actress on the small screen but it sadly had to go off air since it failed to rake in high numbers. It went on air in April this year and went off-air in in September.
