There was much discussion and debate surrounding the startling dismissal of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

In his first interview following the entire debacle, Dhami made a suggestion that Rajan Shahi's sets were not as enjoyable as he had intended. Even though Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit are no longer together, they have gained popularity as the new AbhiMaan. The new couple is receiving a ton of love from everyone.

Samriddhii has now reacted to Shehzada’s accusations of Rajan Shahi asking actors to touch his feet compulsorily. She said, “Rajan Sir has given people on the sets employment for seven to eight years, and some even for 15 years. Yes, there are people who touch his feet when he enters the sets of his show, but this is purely out of respect. He has provided them with a stable livelihood and made their lives. They show their sentiments in that manner. This includes technicians and hair and make-up artists. But there is no compulsion on any star/actor to touch his feet. This is not there.”

She further said, “He believes the cast and crew are like one big unit. Together, that unit can overcome any kind of obstacle. He does not like it when someone tries to disrupt the team or negatively impact work on the sets.”
