MUMBAI: The Rajan Shahi-produced show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which debuted on Star Plus in 2009 and marked its 15th anniversary this January, has become an integral part of Indian television and is currently in its fourth generation, starring Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla as Armaan and Abhira, respectively.
Earlier this year, Rohit Purohit joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, taking up Shehzada Dhami's role as Armaan. The devoted viewers had some time to adjust to the new format, but Rohit Purohit is currently receiving excellent reviews for his performance in this beloved show.

The current plot of the top-rated Star Plus drama revolves around a love triangle between Armaan, Abhira, and Ruhi. Recent episodes reveal Armaan's realization of his love for Abhira, prompting him to cancel his wedding with Ruhi, shocking her and the entire Poddar family. Since then, Armaan has been working to win back Abhira's trust.
Interestingly, Abhira has finally returned to the Poddar house with Madhav and both of them are currently living in the out house. While Dadi Sa is busy planning against Abhira, Armaan is supporting her. Amid all this, a photo is going viral on the internet leaving fans wondering if Madhav will die in the upcoming episodes. Yes, you read that right!
An image of Armaan and Vidya sobbing uncontrollably during a funeral is doing the rounds on social media.
With the cremation pot balanced atop his shoulders, Armaan is depicted, both characters overcome with grief. The post suggests Madhav's or Dadi Sa's certain demise.
Fans of Madhav are hopeful that he doesn't get hurt while on his upcoming mission in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They shouldn't worry, though, because the widely circulated image is fake.
Since the image has been modified, neither Madhav nor Dadi Sa will die in the beloved program. It's interesting to note that Rohit Purohit's face was added to the original Zain Imam and Shruti Panwar shot in Naamkarann to shock fans.
