MUMBAI: The episode sees how Kartik confesses to Naira that he loves her. He elaborately tells her that he wasted all of his life by not being with her and doesn’t want to live like that anymore. He asks her if she loves him too and she hugs him and says that she does. Both of them feel overjoyed and Kartik lifts her to swirl her around in his arms. But suddenly, a staff comes up to Kartik with a question and he realises that he was daydreaming while looking at Naira. He approaches her and confesses his love for her in reality. He tells her how he can’t live without her for even a minute. He tells her that he doesn’t care about other people’s opinions as he knows what his heart really wants. He asks Naira about her feelings for him. He asks her to tell him her decision if she wants to be with him or not. Naira gets tears in her eyes as she hears Kartik. She utters his name to reply to his question but at the same moment, Vedika calls out for Kartik. She apologises for interrupting their conversation but asks him to accompany her as she has something really important to say. She insists Kartik and takes him with her. She asks Naira to come with her too.
After the entire family gathers in the living room, Vedika confesses to them that she had been hiding something from them. Everyone gets curious and asks her to reveal what she has been hiding. Vedika shows everyone a picture of her and Akshat getting engaged. Everyone gets shocked as they see both of them in the picture. Vedika confesses to the family that she had been engaged to Akshat. But later, her father and she found out that Akshat wasn’t a man with good intentions. Her father broke up their engagement within a week but this hurt Akshat’s ego. He bang troubling her and her family to the point where they stopped going outside due to the fear that Akshat might harm them. But later, when Kartik met her father and he asked him to promise to take care of her, she came into their family. She began to feel safe with the family and gained her confidence back. But this time when Akshat came back in her life, he came back to destroy her like never before. She tears their picture out of rage and breaks down crying.
She tells everyone that she didn’t reveal to anyone about Akshat as she was scared they would shun her and throw her out of the house. But when she saw Akshat in the house, she got petrified. She tells Naira that when she had seen Akshat and her late at night talking, she was pleading Akshat to not harm her family. She tells the family that she later became unafraid of Akshat and made sure he doesn’t come back in her life. Akshat left after he realised that she is not scared of him anymore. Meanwhile, Akshat watches over Kairav as he plays on the playground with his friends. He smiles sheepishly as he had not really given up on his agenda to extort money from Vedika’s family. Naira picks up Vedika and consoles her. She also supports her and says that the problem wasn’t Vedika but everyone else. Vedika didn’t feel comfortable sharing such a sensitive issue with anyone because she knew that people would begin to blame her instead of helping her. Naira expresses how women are always asked to stay quiet and tolerate assault and all kinds of taunts, fights and even physical harassment. The society thinks that if a woman speaks up to defend herself, it will bring dishonour to her family. Vedika finds solace in Naira and holds her hand as she gets emotional.
