After crossing the 200 episodes mark, DD’s Kyunki… Jeena Issi Ka Naam Hai this week will focus on ground realities of India and convey them dramatically. The current episode commenced with Sunehri and Chandran realising that they need to take Kushi to the ANM, Savita. Savita advices Sunehri to continue breastfeeding Kushi and to give her Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) till she gets better and soon Kushi recovers from diarrhea.
At the same time Maya is agitated when Shambu is beaten by goons from the Bade Ghar and urges Shambu to lodge an FIR but when he refuses they decide that going on a strike is the best way forward. The “ghost” of Rajpura is caught by a masked woman who ties him up and disappears. The “ghost” turns out to be a young lad, Khatku, who was put up by Mangat and Prabhu.
Meanwhile Shabnam’s aunt, Farida Khala, arrives at the wedding house uninvited much to Shabnam’s displeasure. As Khala indulges in unhygienic practices, Shabnam’s gets more upset. When Khala insists that she won’t use the toilet and will go to the field instead, Shabnam and her mother argue who will accompany her outside.
