Zee TV has decided to reshuffle its weekend prime time shows. Zindagi Badal Sakta Hai Hadsaa, co- produced by Karan Oberoi’s Artistic Media and Fireworks productions, has been pulled off air from this week.
Confirming the news, Programming Head Ajay Bhalwankar says, “ Hadsaa will be pulled off air for certain strategic reasons.”
But isn’t this due to low TRPs? Ajay replies, “TRPs could be part of the strategic reason.”
Karan Oberoi said, “Well, I’m still to receive any official communication from the channel. You never know we might get a extension. The channel will have its own reason to drop the show, so I’m not the right person to comment why it is going off air.”
But haven’t the shows TRPs dropped? Karan replies, “Yes, the TRPs did drop in the last 2-3 weeks. However I’m still happy with the way my first show churned out. After all, it helped kick start my career as a producer.”
With Hadsaa gone, Zee TV’s weekend prime time shows have been shuffled.
Maayka will now be shown from Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm. Ek Se Badhkar Ek, which earlier used to air at 7.30 pm (Sat-Sun) will now be shown at 8.00 pm. Naaginn will now telecast at 9.00 pm (Fri-Sun).
