The turnaround has not just revived their season—it has sent a strong signal to the competition. Historically, whenever MI have won five or more matches consecutively in a season, they’ve either made it to the playoffs or advanced all the way to the final.
That said, Mumbai’s campaign still hangs in delicate balance. With 14 points from 11 games, they cannot afford any complacency. Their upcoming clash against Gujarat Titans at Wankhede Stadium will be a crucial test of their credentials.

If Mumbai Indians manage to maintain their winning streak through all three remaining matches, they’ll finish with 20 points—potentially topping the table and heading into the playoffs with strong momentum and confidence.
