MUMBAI: Changes in Orange and Purple Cap Standings After MI vs RR Clash
Following the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur on Thursday, the IPL 2025 Orange and Purple Cap tables saw notable shifts.
Orange Cap Update
MI's Suryakumar Yadav surged to the top of the Orange Cap leaderboard after a quickfire unbeaten 48 off 23 deliveries. With this innings, his season tally climbed to 475 runs, surpassing Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) Virat Kohli (443 runs) and Gujarat Titans’ (GT) B Sai Sudharsan (456 runs). However, it’s worth noting that Suryakumar has played 11 matches, compared to Sudharsan’s 9 and Kohli’s 10.
