Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms), the show on Zee TV might not be on air today, but the unprecedented love and success that the show saw in the year 2015 has been remarkable. Truly made stars out of Rajat Tokas, Paridhi Sharma and others associated with it.

Mahakumbh (Arvind Babbal Productions) on Life OK is the perfect example of a hugely engrossing finite series. The show was talked about for its interesting story line, production values and the manner in which it was lavishly shot.
Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) on Star Plus is again a long-running show with a great run. This show is a perfect example for drama increasing the shelf life of a serial on TV. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms) on Star Plus, has had a dream run this year, and has broken all records of being an average show which has stepped up its gear to become one of the most-viewed shows on television. Again, a hit pair in Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi has won all hearts..
Other than these shows, few shows which have left an impact on the audience this year happen to be the long running shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sasural Simar Ka, Swaragini, Everest.
