MUMBAI: The Episode starts with Abhira confiding in Pookie, voicing her pain over how Armaan is failing to understand her feelings. As she speaks, she notices how Pookie lights up at the soft chime of a bell, a small moment of joy. The Poddars quietly observe this tender scene between Abhira and the baby, but as soon as they spot Pookie, they back away, hesitant. Sensing their discomfort, Abhira gently urges them to embrace Pookie like their own, reassuring them that Armaan’s approval shouldn’t be a barrier to love.

Aryan chimes in with a smile, saying he’s ordered toys for Pookie. Madhav adds that he has too. Encouraged, Abhira asks the family to shower the baby with care and warmth.
As Charu and Kiara get ready to cut the cake, they request Abhira to bring Armaan. She hands Pookie over to Manisha and heads to find him. But when she sees Armaan fast asleep, she decides not to wake him.
Time passes, and when Armaan wakes up, panic strikes—Pookie isn’t by his side. He quickly blames Abhira, accusing her of being careless. She tries to explain that the Poddars were with the baby, but Armaan insists she’s missing.
In the other room, Krish unintentionally startles Pookie, and she bursts into tears. Armaan rushes in, distressed. He scolds Manisha for bothering Abhira and then demands to know who changed Pookie’s clothes. He’s convinced the new outfit is making her uncomfortable, while Abhira gently suggests the baby might just be hungry.
Tensions rise, and their disagreement explodes into a full-blown argument. Abhira, overwhelmed, questions Armaan’s Mother’s Day gestures, accusing him of celebrating in name only—without acknowledging her role or giving her respect. Armaan insists he’s simply concerned for Pookie’s well-being. But Abhira sees his actions as controlling and feels pushed out. He, in turn, refuses to see her point of view.
Watching the couple grow distant, Aryan remarks that ever since Pookie came into their lives, Armaan seems to have sidelined Abhira. Her pain is visible, and the Poddars silently empathize. Vidya finally speaks up, telling Armaan that while his worries are valid, he’s not being fair to Abhira. But Armaan brushes off the criticism, believing he’s just being protective.
Later, guilt seeps in as Armaan searches for Abhira, thinking she might be upset with Pookie because of their fight. But when Abhira comes to talk, they’re interrupted—Kiara wants to introduce Pookie to her aunt. Armaan, already on edge, sets strict boundaries and insists on caring for Pookie himself, catching Abhira completely off guard.

He even asks the aunt to check her temperature before touching Pookie, leaving everyone, including the Poddars, stunned. In a final blow, he stops her from holding the baby altogether. Abhira is left deeply hurt. And just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, she finds out that Armaan has hired a helper for Pookie—without even telling her.
