MUMBAI: Actor Aadesh Chaudhary is set to take audiences on a mind-bending journey with his upcoming short film Bhram, a psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of perception and reality. The film, directed by Mayur Mehta and produced by Kunal Garud, promises an intriguing narrative that keeps viewers guessing.
Speaking about the project, Aadesh shared, "Bhram follows a protagonist who navigates a world where reality and illusion blur. Without revealing too much, I can say that my character plays a crucial role in this unsettling tale, but I’ll keep the details under wraps for now. The film will be released on a popular OTT platform, with the official announcement expected soon.”
With a short runtime, making an impact was crucial, and Aadesh worked closely with the director to ensure his portrayal left a lasting impression. "To make my character stand out, I focused on depth and nuance. Every gesture, expression, and line mattered. Mayur’s clarity of vision helped me refine my performance, and I made sure to stay true to the character’s emotional arc."
Aadesh had high praise for the cast and crew of Bhram, describing the experience as seamless and rewarding. "Working with Mayur and the entire team was an absolute pleasure. His passion is contagious, and the team’s dedication made the process incredibly smooth. The atmosphere on set was filled with creativity and commitment."
The film also features Aradhana Sharma as his co-lead. "Aradhana is a talented actor, and sharing the screen with her was a fantastic experience. Our scenes together add an extra layer of intrigue to the story."
For Aadesh, preparation was key. "I delved deep into the script, studying every aspect of my character. I worked on my physical appearance, mannerisms, and emotional depth to make the role as authentic as possible."
Aadesh believes short films offer a unique space for artistic exploration. "Unlike mainstream cinema or television, short films allow for more experimentation. With fewer constraints, there’s room to break conventional storytelling norms, which makes them creatively fulfilling."
With Bhram ready for release, Aadesh is gearing up for more exciting projects. "I have a web series and a feature film in the works. Both projects are quite different from Bhram, and I’m excited to explore new genres and characters."
Reflecting on his experience, Aadesh shared an important takeaway from the project. "I learned the power of subtlety in acting. In short films, every second counts, and sometimes, less is more. This role taught me to trust the impact of understated performances."
