After spy, cop and horror-comedy universe in movies, now with Farzi get ready for a universe on OTT

MUMBAI: In Bollywood, we have Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, YRF’s spy universe, and Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe. But, we haven’t seen much of a universe when it comes to OTT. However, now it looks like Raj & DK are all set to make a universe on OTT.

The director duo’s recent web series titled Farzi has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The series stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, and it has been getting a good response.

One thing that has grabbed everyone’s attention in it is the appearances and mentions of The Family Man’s character in Farzi. This has made everyone wonder whether The Family Man and Farzi are a universe. Check out the tweets below…

Well, Farzi marked the OTT debut of Shahid Kapoor and Hindi OTT debut of Vijay Sethupathi. Both the actors are getting a good response for their performance in the series. But now, everyone is eagerly waiting for The Family Man season 3.

While talking to TellyChakkar, Sharib Hashmi aka JK of The Family Man had exclusively confirmed that they will start shooting for season 3 of the series this year, and it will premiere next year.

Meanwhile, Raj & DK are currently busy with the shooting of Citadel which stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. It is the Indian installment of the international Citadel which stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead roles. The international series is being created by Russo Brothers.
