Jiya was seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and the fans were excited to see her on the show.

But unfortunately, she was eliminated from the show owing to fewer votes just three days before the finale and her fans were left heartbroken.
She was known for her friendship with Abhishek and on this show she did confess her feelings for him and said that she did like him and in fact the fans have made their ship as #Abhiya which keeps trending on social media.
She was the only contestant who gave it back to Pooja Bhatt and took a stand for herself.
Now post her eviction, while interacting with the media she reacted with the fact that she is India's new crush.
The actress said "I have come to know that I am the new crush of India, it feels good and I'm obliged and thankful for all the love and support I have received from the fans. I surely did something and hence have been receiving so much love"
Well, there is no doubt that Jiya's eviction came as a shock to her fans as they expect to see her in the finale of the show.
