MUMBAI: The vivacious Divinaa Thackur is all set for her digital debut with ALTBalaji’s Who’s Your Daddy.
The gorgeous actress has done a few regional movies and popular short films and is geared up to rock as Mehek in her upcoming project.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with her and in a candid conversation with TellyChakkar, she revealed how she bagged the project. She said, “ I got a call from the casting department that I am supposed to send a self-test immediately. On receiving the script, I realised that it's a conversational script and since I live alone, I thought I won’t be able to deliver it. But the casting team said just imagine the other cues and do a selfie test. I was not sure that this kind of audition will get me through it. But to my surprise I got a call next day saying that I was finalized."
Talking about the story of the show and her character, Divinaa added, “The project has a very unusual selection of story. I heard the narration and without a second thought, I said yes. To me the story sounded full of fun and very intriguing. It has a nice flavour of Northern culture. After I heard the brief, particularly about my character, I couldn't resist giving a nod.
Mehek sounded like a smooth ride to enact, because she is bindaas, cute, upfront, flirtatious and most girls are like that. In enjoyed every bit of shooting the project. "
