MUMBAI: Director Shakun Batra was present to promote his upcoming film Gehraiyan. The director speaks about the response he has been to the trailer and hopes he meets the expectations of his audience. He also sportingly answers some of the quick questions which were asked to him about his star cast.
Gehraiyaan director Shakun Batra was present for an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com. During his interaction, Shakun was asked about the response he has been getting for the trailer of his film. The director said, Well the response to the trailer is overwhelming and we are very happy about that. And now as the release date is coming closer I have been keeping my finger crossed and feeling nervous too. I hope we meet the expectations of the audience.

Who comes late on the sets?
Because we live in the same hotel when we were shooting in Goa, we literally left at the same time. Unfortunately, there was nobody late.
Who takes maximum retakes while shooting?
I take maximum retakes for everyone.
Who takes maximum breaks
We were actually like a bunch of friends who like to sit on set and joke. Nobody went back to their van. We all hung out really like friends so they never went back to their vans. We just sat there on the sets and chatted in between shots.
Who was the gossip-monger among you?
Ananya Panday, not gossiping but she keeps chatting, She likes to chat a lot.
Gehraiyaan stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhanth Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles. The film is produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Jouska Films. The film is scheduled to premiere on 11 February 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
