MUMBAI: Helmed by Vibhu Agarwal announcing its new show ‘Johri’ starring Charu Asopa and Nishant Malkani, which goes on the floor on 13th December 2022. Atrangii has teamed up with ace content production house Endemol Shine India to churn out a cutting-edge thriller against the backdrop of bank fraud. Johri will be helmed by the acclaimed director Partho Mitra.
'Johri’ is a saga of an ordinary man becoming a diamond mogul, it is a tale of bank scams, frauds, and glamour at its finest. The series captures one man’s ambition, his greed, his manipulations of the system, his plush lifestyle and lavishness of his business, his rise, and equally dramatic fall.

We bring you the exclusive update that Actor Atul Kale, has been roped in for the series.
Atul Kale is a prominent actor who is known for his various roles in TV and Movies.
He has been in the TV series Ghar Jamai, Mrs. Mathur, Main (with Shekhar Suman), Vedh, Sherlock Bond, Sincenati Babla Boo, and CID in both Hindi and Marathi.
In the movies Vaastav, Ehsaas, Hathyar, Pitaah, Virrudh, Tera Mera Saath Rahen, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Life Ho toh Aisi, and Pran Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye, Kale co-starred with Mahesh Manjrekar. In Along with his acting career, Atul also had the chance to work with Mahesh on the movies Life Ho Toh Aisi, Struggler, Viruddh, Dear Zindagi, and Rakt.
The series also stars Nyrraa Banerjiee of Pishachini fame in pivotal roles.
The casting of the show has been done by Janet Ellis, who is an ace casting director and is responsible for finding some of the biggest names we have in the industry now.
She is the founder of Janet’s Casting Hub, and the casting assistants responsible are Sushil and Shikhar.
